I am a member of 3 clubs and have 7 cars on the scheme. Clubs doing stupid stuff should be stopped rather than throwing away the whole system.

Clubs making calander days 3 days a week that dont need to be entered in a log book. You clearly do not have a car on historic or a part of a car club.
