I have tried freeing the two main bolts that hold the bumper, I have used penetrating fluid and then hit the bolts with a heavy hammer, I left the nuts on the end of the bolts so as not to burr the threads over and also a piece of wood to soften the blows.Did not move at all so more fluid and maybe a bit of heat ? All the other nuts are rusty and will not move. The car is nearly sixty years old……….I will keep at it.

and the two anchors appear to be frozen in place. Likely, never has come off the
car since it was new (1969.5 ID-19). What about using a wood 2 x 4 and hit the
stud hard with a sledge and soaking the studs with PB Blaster for a few days?
