Yes they lift the tyres off the ground but the effort to shift the car defies the strength of two men and required enough room to lever the car around with a long length of timber as a pry bar. I’m talking a 1490 kg car here, not heavy by modern standards. To upgrade the castors to ball race type might help, but that is a most expensive exercise at over $40 each for 16 castors, and I have no confidence that would relieve the issue.

My advice to would be buyers is find another solution.
