2019 Linnwood House Car Show

Today I attended the Linnwood house car show. In prior years, this was focused around the Rolls Royce display, but this year it was more of a general car show. I like this car show as it is informal, no marshals, security guards or crowds. Just rock up with your car and park in the vast grounds outside the historic house.

British Motor Museum Main Collection

The British Motor Museum contains the world’s largest collection of historic British vehicles. It was a really impressive museum and worth a visit if you’re ever in the UK. It is a nice combination of early vehicles, examples of popular British cars, concept cars and competition cars.

The museum is located in Warwick, near Birmingham, about an hour or so north of London on the M40.

2014 Shannons Sydney late spring classic auction preview

The latest Shannons Auction is on Monday, so I went to preview the offering. As usual, Shannons have a nice mix of cars for sale, and the ones that caught my eye were:

Lot 4: 1951 AUSTIN A90 ATLANTIC 2 DOOR COUPE

This is not a car I know much about, but it has oodles of character and a price guide of $18,000-$24,000. The paint work is not in great shape, but it looks like a nice car nevertheless and it has loads of cool period details.
