Auto Brunch St Ives June 2019

Auto Brunch is a monthly cars and coffee event only 10 minutes from where I live. I stopped by the June event today. This is an interesting event in that while there appear to be some regulars there is also a lot of variety in the cars you see each time. As you would expect given the production volume, the MGB was the most popular car there. 2014 ACT Terribly British Day

I had to be in Canberra today, so I swung by the 2014 ACT Terribly British Day. It was quite a nice little car show with a decent mix of British cars. I was glad to go as the Sydney show was rained out this year and I had not taken the 450SLC on a good road trip for a while.

2014 Shannons Sydney late spring classic auction preview

The latest Shannons Auction is on Monday, so I went to preview the offering. As usual, Shannons have a nice mix of cars for sale, and the ones that caught my eye were:

Lot 4: 1951 AUSTIN A90 ATLANTIC 2 DOOR COUPE

This is not a car I know much about, but it has oodles of character and a price guide of $18,000-$24,000. The paint work is not in great shape, but it looks like a nice car nevertheless and it has loads of cool period details.
